Frequently Asked Questions About Laser Vaginal Tightening

How much does it cost?

The cost for the 3-treatment series is $2000.

Do I need a pap smear?

Yes, absolutely you will need to bring the results of a pap smear done within 5 years.  For those clients with a hysterectomy, obviously no pap test is needed.

What payment methods do you accept?

The FemiLift procedure is a cost effective way to improve your feminine health, so most clients use their MasterCard or VISA cards.  We also accept your Health Savings Account (HSA) card and CareCredit.

How is non-surgical laser vaginal tightening performed?

The specialized laser probe is carefully inserted deep into the vagina by our Certified Laser Specialist©.  The Co2 fractionated laser beams penetrate the vaginal walls to target the tissue where new collagen is produced. Clients tell us this treatment is similar to having a pap smear.

Is there any downtime following my vaginal rejuvenation procedure?

All clients return to their normal, daily activities following their procedure, however intercourse should be avoided for 3 days. Full results will be noticed at the end of the series of treatments.

Will I need multiple treatments?

Yes, three treatments are required for full results. The cost includes all three treatments.

How do I know if I am a good candidate for laser vaginal tightening?

Laser Vaginal Tightening is safe for most women, including those with other vaginal concerns such as pelvic relaxation, vaginal prolapseendometriosis and pelvic pain. It is ideal for women who have recently given birth and are breastfeeding, especially if they want to have more children.  It is recommended to wait 3 months after childbirth to have the procedure. Women may use all forms of birth control including an IUD, or have had previous pelvic surgery such as a vaginal repair or hysterectomy.

Am I a candidate if I’m post-menopausal and will I get relief from my vaginal dryness?

Laser Vaginal Tightening is ideal for the post-menopausal woman.  The FemiLiftTM promotes collagen production and remodeling in the vagina which in turn results in a return of a more youthful vagina that is lost with menopause. Women report improved lubrication and a decrease in pain associated with penetration.

Are there any side effects with this treatment?

Associated risks are minimal, but some women may experience a watery discharge or spotting for a day or two. Women should be prepared to experience increased vaginal sensation following each treatment.  Vaginal lubrication may improve and orgasms may become more intense.   Discuss your concerns during your consultation.
